and here’s some film drawings i did about five years ago when i was thinking of making a porn comedy and never got up the nerve. this is how i tend to write films, start with sketches and then build characters and dialogues from them.

I am directing two short dramas – and I imbue them with as much of what I feel a French film is. Maybe I have a fantasy of talking in a French accent. Or it’s the eyes of the actors. The sensuality. The pace. They are set in a hospital and a care home – but still I want this filmic beauty.
