he – we did the right thing.

the other – yes, we did

he – we did, didn’t we?

the other looks over as the man comes in. with a small glass of vodka. stands up straight and drowns the glass.

the other – that’s it

he – it’s finished.

opening scene – woman wanders across the landscape

Posted by – July 13, 2011

the hem of her dress, getting soaked as she walks across the hill towards the deserted house. she clutches her hands as if in prayer……….a low chorus of cellos pull on their lowest note………she glances towards me…and for a moment stares….her eyes trying to figure out who I am…

how to survive in this world

Posted by – July 4, 2011

some wisdom from a while back – a trawl into my drawings from 2000

“you want to survive this world?

don’t read columnists, watch tv, listen to politely enunciated radio

do go camping, eat raw salads, listen to the sound of water

don’t tell your friends your life’s plans or hopes

this my friends will make life under capitalism a little easier”

said in the mode of Gore Vidal or someone like that.
