Lisa Gornick works in film, performance and drawing. She is based in London.
She has drawn from an early age and feels that it is her first language. From time to time she exhibits her work – please get in touch if you’d like to come to a show. She also works on commissions.
In 2000 she set up Valiant Doll, a digital film production company, in order to make low budget features. She has made two award-winning features, Do I Love You? (2003) and Tick Tock Lullaby (2007). She is currently working on her third cross platform feature film.
She works as a performer both live and on camera. Most recently she was in The Owls (2010) a feature made in Los Angeles and in Hooters (2010), a feature about the making of The Owls also made in LA. Recently back doing live performance which incorporate both drawing and film – these have taken place around London including the Poetry Society and Camden Arts Centre. More to come.
