i am singing on a large stage

i come forward. i knew this moment would happen. i see nothing except huge lights in my eyes. i feel the human noise of people. i hold the cold metal of the microphone. i look to the side. she presses start and the music i know starts. it’s very loud. i breathe and hear my breath. so i start to sing my first song.
