talking about it

Grotowski said “do not talk about the process or the creation..as you are making it..Don’t go home and chat about your creative acts to your friend, family or strangers..”(something like that)

Whereas eager enthusiastic filmic folk who believe they have the next big ££$$ hit are desperate to blog, claim, sell, sell, sell when it’s just in the early stages all the way to completion.

To pitch public or meditate on the meaning. Refine and polish in the stillness of the studio (not big film $ studio) or home. That is the question of the day being a cold drab like Sunday 22nd of February 2009

filmmaking - positive ball rolling

OK missy it’s time to have an upbeat attitude
it’s time to remember that time you stopped worrying by the act of doing
what is the process of making feature film no. 3?
I wrote the script and I wrote it from the heart
I wrote it with an editor
Yes, a script editor, before I turned the camera on.
Sometimes the process was akin to intense psychoanalysis
but I loved it (each stage of the way is about enjoying the process)
